- A mess of fresh okra from Fred's farm
- Corn meal
- Vegetable oil
Wash okra and slice into round 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch thick circles. Season corn meal to taste with salt and pepper. Coat okra in corn meal mixture and fry in skillet of hot oil until golden brown, turning occasionally. Eat a few while they cool before serving to the family. Yum Yum!
